The Asia Foundation in collaboration with Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID), and Economic Reports’ Forum (ERF) organized a virtual Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) with concerned stakeholders of the leather industry in Bangladesh on September 29, 2020.
The dialogue covered pertinent issues regarding leather and leather goods export prospects triggered by the Covid-19 shocks. Mr. Salman Fazlur Rahman, Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Honorable Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present on the event as Chief Guest. Dr. Mohammad Abdur Razzaque, Chairman of RAPID and Director of PRI made the keynote presentation in the program.
Mr. Md Shaheen Ahamed, President of Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) was present at the event as a Panel Discussant and expressed his important views.
