Mr. Daniele Bacchi Consultant, ItalProgetti, Italy visited Bangladesh from 17 to 20 February, 2023. The purpose of the visit is the assessment of the CETP for its rectification & up gradation and have meetings with Chairman, BTA as well as others leather Industry leaders for the overall development of the sector. In this consequences, a meeting was held on 19th February, 2023 at Hotel InterContinental.

Shakawat Ullah, General Secretary, BTA, Syed Nazmul Ahsan, Director (Dhaka Region), Department of Environment, Mr. Mustak Ahmed, Managing Director, DTIEWTPCL, Mr. Mohammad Sadat S. Shibli, Director and Mr. Md. Taherul Islam (Taher), Program Manager, The Asia Foundation, Govt. officials and some other related officials were present in the meeting.
