Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF) has intended to initiate amfori BSCI Gap assessment in 10 (ten) tannery factories who are the members of the Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA).
This initiative aims to improve Social Compliances issues and management nonconformities associated with its activities.
In this context, BTA and TAF jointly organized a Orientation Workshop of amfori BSCI Gap assessment at the office of BTA on March 18, 2023.
Mr. Md. Shakawat Ullah, General Secretary, Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA), was present at the program as Chief Guest.
Mr. Rehana Akter Ruma, Head of Project & Programs, BTA, Tannery Owners and representatives from different tanneries, representatives from The Asia Foundation & OMNIFARIOUS Inc were also present at the workshop
